Love that cannot be embraced

freewrite

By Brian Wong Published 12 days ago 1 min read

If love cannot be expressed

If love cannot be embraced

If love cannot hold hands

If love cannot sleep together

Then we can still

We can still

Talk on the phone insincerely

Look at each other through the glass

Or through the screen

Or

Pretend not to know each other

Walk face to face

In this

materialistic society

What kind of love

is more precious than this

love poems
