Mars, the rusty wanderer 'gainst the velvet black,

Tonight it holds a secret, a whispered lover's pact.

No rover's tracks disturb the ancient, crimson ground,

But a message etched in starlight, a love forever bound.

With a heart's yearning fierce, a love that will not bend,

I borrow Martian twilight, a fiery, rusty friend.

In whispers soft as dust devils that moan across the plain,

I write your name, a promise etched in Martian rain.

The rugged landscape, silent, stark, a canvas grand,

Holds the warmth of my words, a love close at hand.

Each letter carved by canyons, bold against the red,

A testament to feelings, passionate and long since fed.

Imagine Mars, a canvas vast and ever-changing,

Where lovers' secrets dance, forever rearranging.

Across the solar winds, this inscription shall roam,

A silent declaration, whispered from my Martian home.

Perhaps a meteorite will crash, with fiery, fleeting grace,

Leaving a dusty halo around your love's embrace.

The solar wind will carry it, a message yet untold,

Of love's enduring flame, forever brave and bold.

On Phobos or Deimos, moons bathed in Martian light,

A curious life form gazes, bathed in the rusty night.

It sees your name, a wonder writ in the alien soil,

A love story whispered, where dreams and starlight coil.

They ponder the meaning, a message from afar,

A whisper carried on the back of a celestial guitar.

Perhaps they dream of us, with hearts that yearn to roam,

Two souls connected, on a celestial dome.

The Martian seasons change, a waltz of ice and fire,

But the love I wrote tonight, will forever inspire.

For even when volcanoes erupt, and dust devils take flight,

This inscription of devotion, will forever burn so bright.

The vast expanse of silence, a universe profound,

Holds this secret message, on Martian soil I've found.

A testament to love, that conquers the unknown,

Your name on Mars, a whisper on a celestial throne.

Though galaxies may shift, and stars may fade from sight,

My love will reach you, a beacon burning ever bright.

For in the Martian twilight, a truth forever stands,

Your name etched in starlight, across the Martian sands.
