After a while broken hearts heal ready for love again

Stronger and wiser

With war wounds and stretch marks

Fighting through pain to love again

Memories try to invade the spaces in between the void

Reminders of what was once accepted

But that is no more

All is not lost

The ruins are more beautiful than what was

Tattered hearts still beat

Fearless of betrayal and full of love

Love for self first

Then universal love

Who would have knew that fairytales do exist
