Love Like the Wind

Sun wings

I tell your heart to live

again

for all the times

when sunsets brought the ash

of yesterday's forget-me-nots,

when hope was hiding

under cloud wings,

and the night

embraced your soul

too often,

too cold the steel of yearning,

when you could only feel

harsh wind

taking away your breath,

rainbow descending

underwater,

I saw your love,

I still held close,

heart winter

couldn't reach your home.

***

In looking close, I found the wind,

in trying to believe,

I sang heart melody,

the words

taken on breeze,

returned

to care for every flower.

***

I live inside next breath,

kissing the wind

fate bond,

I care not for all yesterdays,

if storms are all we find

let's grow sun wings

become

tomorrow's hope

in love.
