Love is in the air

We’re captive in an electronic wave

of ones and zeros

they seem to take on a life of their own

The myriad ways of forming words

to say ‘I love you, please never go away’

Traveling pulses manifesting a fixed

Enchanted prism unhindered

by flesh and breath

Extraneous elements useless in air

Coded words to express love

And yet, the absence is thickened

By the need to feel the real sensation

Of a kiss on the lips

A hand in the hand

Watching endless sunsets

Making love all arms and legs

and breathing

Where zeros and ones are to no avail

I love the adventure writing takes me on. I enjoy the idea of sharing them with an audience. I hope you enjoy my visions too.
