The Journey from Birth

the day of the birth came

after many laborious hours a beautiful soul was born. but what to name this creature? after much deliberation the name bestowed was love. love be thy name.

as love grew it felt many days of confusion. love often felt so much expectation and pressure. whilst at the heart of things love wanted far more simplicity.

no matter what love did people often got angry at love. what did I ever do to them? how could they be angry when they don't even know me?

many times love would be treated with complete adoration but love knew it had faults, just like everything else and became fearful of what people might do when they saw these faults and their expectations shattered.

people had a variety of reactions towards love. but few of them were accurate. love wanted people to get to know who they were instead of coming in with so many ideas, none of which belonged to love.

love asked people for presence. it's all love ever really wanted.

"Ickle Me Pickle Me Tickle Me too went for a ride on a flying shoe"...and so my love of reading began with Shel Silverstein just as soon as I could read. Not far behind was my love of writing. I adore poetry and philosophy, Heaven.
