Two lost souls seeking relief from the pain
Hurt by generations of abuse
Now hurting one another - how insane
Searching here - searching there
Caught up in the past not knowing
Who to trust or with whom to care
Past generations started this war
Leaving these two condemned to bad relations
Only to be treated like whores.
They punish themselves and others
Hoping to find relief, but never understanding
They must forgive themselves and one another
The answer is simple to find
Love or hate - comfort or pain
Your heart must decide if there is to be peace of mind
For anger is nothing more than a selfish way
To keep you hanging on till death, which only condemns
Your two lost souls to hell for eternity and a day.
