Adoration glimmers behind the eyes of two young souls.
Burning passions simmer into sweet, warm affection.
Comfort and trust become a firm foundation.
Deep dark secrets and insecurities rise to the surface,
Empathy and compassion sifts them away
Faith so deep in another, it shatters your world view.
Growing a new little soul made from two hearts.
Home is built in joy and celebration with community
Insatiable, Life always finds a way to come back around though.
Just when all seems well with the world,
Keeping something so precious from the jaws of reality,
Likely a fool’s venture in the end no matter the effort exerted
Men are prone to the folly of hope when times are good.
Neither lover, nor parent really wants to see the dangers lurking.
Once the beasts decide to strike, it's far too late.
People and animals are one in the same, seeking for their own gain,
Quickening the end to someone else that shares their world.
Roar your qualms to the sky if you must
Shed a hundred tears for the lovers lost to one another.
Time gives and time takes away, in the end time is all we have
Until man rises above mere survival nothing else is guaranteed
Vindication is withheld from the ones left alone.
When the field of battle is cleared and the warrior is felled,
X is drawn across the heart, a promise to the once great life now buried there
Yesterday may be gone, and all it held lost to the gods of time, but,
Zeniths have been reached on the other end of far less tragic tales.

I like the Zenith premise. We should all strive for it.
