doubting how far you can go,
just remember
how far you have come".
"Look how far you've come,
it's taken a long time to get to this day" ---
did anyone say that to you on your wedding day?
Or when you graduated from University?
Or when you passed that driving test?
When we look back at our past,
what do we see?
A real past,
full of life
and experiences that (should)
help us in the future.
If you ever wake up
and 'worry'
because you don't think you can do that job,
just STOP
and think about how much work it took
to actually get that job,
and (hopefully) your Confidence will come back to you.
It's the same
when doing a course at college.
The exam seems impossible,
but look back at the three folders you have built up
over the last two years,
and just SEE
what you have already accomplished ---
and you haven't even taken the exam yet!
You Can Do It!
You've done the work in the past,
you CAN do it again in the future!
Believe In Who You Are!
LIVE AND LOVE LIFE!

A Minute's Difference
It was a Tuesday, 2:58...59 in the afternoon. My friend Andy was white-knuckled gripping the edge of his school desk, staring desperately at the second hand of the clock slooowly circling round, while our teacher droned on and on. A girl behind me cracked her gum. Another classmate was fervently scribbling notes. I was trying to look just awake enough not to get called on. Wrapped in my grey hoodie, eyes drooping behind uncut bangs, head leaning on folded arms, I appeared the cliche of a bored teenage boy, on the verge of daydreaming his way into a more exciting life.
