dear shore,

i love you so much i’m breaking

so much is built up in my chest

and you’re not here to take it

the pressure underneath my breasts

is too much to handle on my own

i need you to come and share this load

tears spill over, they just won’t stop

oceans overflowing

no way for it to be contained

and i know you love me too

but do you actually feel the same

are you struggling without me there

waiting to return

so you can unload all that pent up desire

tell me that without me your chest is on fire

tell me you’re burning hotter than hell

and when you come home to me

i’ll cool you down with my ocean of tears

and we can finally release these lonely fears

hold me in your arms and i’ll melt into you

let’s become one once more, forevermore

never to separate again

because i am your ocean and you are my shore

love,

ocean
