Lonely Valentine

Poetry of Unspoken Emotions

In the quiet echo of a lonely night,

Where shadows dance in the pale moonlight.

A heart, once hopeful, now heavy with pain,

Valentine's Day, a cruel, relentless refrain.

A solitary rose, with petals of red,

Whispers tales of love, now withered and dead.

In the garden of dreams, where promises bloom,

A desolate heart, lost in the gloom.

The moon weeps silver tears above,

Witnessing a heartache, an unrequited love.

Silent sobs echo in the midnight air,

As shattered dreams linger, too heavy to bear.

Crimson skies mirror the ache within,

A melancholy waltz, a sorrowful spin.

Love's symphony, now a haunting melody,

In the ballad of a heart's forlorn elegy.

The candle's flame flickers, a feeble light,

Illuminating the shadows of a love lost in the night.

A poet's pen weaves verses of despair,

On the parchment of a soul stripped bare.

A Valentine's Day, etched in shades of blue,

A love story that never had a chance to bloom.

In the tapestry of time, a somber design,

A heart's lament on this day, a valentine.
