In 2020 when the pandemic hit

When the corona virus was born

When masks became the new fashion trend and necessity

When you have to quarantine for fourteen days after visiting your family in a hotspot

So you can’t see your friends and share memories with them about your family vacation.

2020 is year we were forced wait outside before going grocery shopping

We are recommended to stay six feet apart

No touching or sharing anything just incase that person has the virus

Incase is the key word in that sentence

Because a person can also be asymptomatic

All these things we have to think about before we touch something or talk to someone

All the surfaces we have to clean before we touch them

If we can’t clean them we have to wear gloves to protect us from the germs lingering on there.

One thing before another can prevent you from catching the virus and possibly having your soul go up to heaven before the real due date.

This is why we have to be happy for the little things in life right now

Little things like painting your nails

Little things like seeing bright colors

Little things like seeing sunflowers

Little things like getting cozy and eating pumpkin pie

Little things like the sun rising

Little things like a butterfly flying by

Little things like health

Just being able to wake up in the morning

Without that you can’t have love

You can’t fall into gaze and day dream about a happier place

You can’t see your family or tell your friends how crazy your family is

Without the little things being appreciated there is no room for the big things to be celebrated

Without the virus means we have the cure

When a cure comes along we will have went through the triumph

We will have a victory party and dance centimeters away from our loved ones

Until then the little things will make us smile and get through an enormous thing.
