That is to say
Hard and quick,
Like how you need to drive.
Precise and steady,
Like how you use that blade.
Sure and deliberate,
Like how you pull the trigger.
Desperate and passionate,
Like I’m the cure you need.
Kiss me like you still want to die.
That is to say
Like I’m worth a break from the anger,
Like I’m a temporary break from the emptiness,
Like I’m something to hold onto,
Like I’m worth living for, even just for now,
Like I’m the answer to your pleas,
Like I’m the cure you want.
Kiss me like you still want to die.
Love me like you love the void.
Want me like you want the end.
Hold me like you found your reason.
Look me in the eyes like you mean it.
Say my name like it’s your only wish.
Kiss me like you still want to die,
But let me make you feel alive.
