Life Of Me

Until..I’m on..death row, no one needs to know.

For when I prepare to go, I loved until the ending of it.

Fought like my life depended on it.

I can not..for..the life of me, tolerate the strife in me.

I’m comfortable in the likes of me.

In my lungs, the smoke is filling them,

Emphysema killing them.

Until..I see..the light, the ink displayed the might.

Darkness restored my sight.

If I am not the problem, I’m the guide, my truth tastes just like cyanide.

I’m a..dying..breed, we’re left out on the street, like animals to feed.

And no, it is no fun.

Armageddon has begun.

It’s the life of me, a storm is raining from it.

In the eyes of me, the light just keeps on draining from them.

And on the..day I..die, my death can tell no lie.

The only question’s why, since I have not the closure.

No chips upon my shoulders.

Death unto..your heart..strings.

I’m searching for a king, the life of all my dreams.

I continue on the road still, I’m passing all this road kill.

I just can’t..for the..life of me. Find someone who’s quality.

I would give them all of me.

But they’re scarcer than three dollar bills.

The truth hides in the pills.

And here..we go..again. I flow amongst the wind.

I’m crawling out my skin.

Take the butcher knife out me.

As love..faces..extinction, there is no distinction.
