Every day that we awake;

With every breath we take.

Life will always have hard days;

The sun won’t always show it’s rays.

Maybe life sometimes feels wrong;

It is then we must be strong.

There is a lot in life we can achieve;

Before the day we have to leave.

You have to realise this day could be any;

Last moments now for so many.

You’ll be challenged with many different things;

By what this life often brings.

Some will hate what happens today;

Then the next day seems okay.

So, when you go to bed tonight;

And close your eyes from what’s in sight.

Take a moment to appreciate,

Your still alive,

You still can breathe;

Your still in this world,

that others had to leave.
