Let's play a game.

There is a river.

There is a boat.

And there are three matters of import.

A lamb, a wolf and a bunched grass

those are what you have to help cross over

one at a time but two out of three,

are out to get each other

Let's play a game

and the game is to deliver these three

not leaving one behind

they all should arrive safely.

The river is time

and the boat is perception

now let's see who you will send first to win

and who would be the last to reach the destination.

There is the grass.

Green. Beautiful as ever, covering a barren land

just like how hope rises over our fear and insecurities

covering our ugly parts and giving us a hand.

The grass is what we strive for

it is what we aspire to be

what drives us

what we could be.

Then there is the wolf.

A wolf that moves in packs

a wolf that fits with the many

what is expected of us

a wolf is what we should be.

It is what society tell us to be

even while you are drowning in fear, you ought to act strong

not correcting the path they walk on

you follow the system, even when it's wrong.

And finally there's the lamb

item number three

that is what we are

trapped between what we could and should be.

The lamb.

A weak and fragile being,

what we are gnaws what we could be

with insecurity and fear interfering.

And what we should be preys on what we are

and for that simple fact the lamb is always running

afraid of the wolf

afraid of dying.

So let's play a game.

There is a river.

There is a boat.

And there are three matters of import.

With time and perception given

let's play a game between what we are, what we should and could be

who knows how to win the game

and make sure they all arrive safely?
