If you truly want to persevere?
Always told to finish
Finish what has been already started...
No matter the journey
Be aware
This is not true
You do you
This applies to everything in your mind
Even if it's one that your family wants you to do,
Your friends want you to do,
Or anyone else
Care for yourself
For what's in your thoughts and heart
Dream on
Fear may come
But believe in yourself
If it’s simple or complicated
Any goals are valid
Analyze if they truly make you happy
And if it also brings you joy
Joy in your path to accomplishing them
Listen to your heart
Let go of unnecessary tasks

Yesterday, I had an inexplicable experience during my visit to my mom's home in Belgium that has left me baffled. Every few months, I travel from Paris to see her, keeping up a tradition we've had for 17 years - she waves goodbye to me from her third floor window as I walk to the bus stop down the path outside her apartment building.
