Laughter of a butterfly
when a butterfly laughs
On our breakfast plates' center
Every morning we tried to see who could touch the painted blue butterfly first.
Our grandmother then ordered, "Do not eat the poor butterfly."
We were amused by that.
Each time she said it, we immediately began to chuckle.
Such a cute little joke, in my opinion.
I had no doubt that the butterfly would emerge from our plates one fine morning, giggle the cutest laugh in the world, and land on our grandmother's lap.
Those wishes made me wonder if butterflies could actually put out a little giggle.

THINKING OF YOU
When my life gets difficult or when I feel like I've had enough, the sun you see, makes me think of you. It's a miracle and a wonder too because I see you both every day as you know to stop seeing either, I'd have to say, no. The sun is setting on a lonely day, and the colors are splitting in just the perfect way as you walk home as I watch from my window thinking of you from this day on. I'll look forever at that magical sunset, our memories shall never fade away till the end of times. "thinking of you!" drains my energy because I long to see you!

The Singer So Shy
She stood near the cold fireplace, watching the second-hand tick down to the hour. In another minute, the clock's bird would emerge and warble the hour. She reached up and touched the clock, tracing the gentle slope of the farmhouse roof, then trailing down the lilac strewn side, to the white fence framed dooryard. She wished she was there, where the air would smell of lilacs rather than smoke.
