Labels

Tall, short, wide, slim.

She, they, them, him.

White, black, brown, green.

Happy, sad, nice, mean.

Rich, poor, housed, street.

All kinds of people I like to meet

and treat them well, with respect

not like a bully who on them pecked

and listen hard to what they say

or sit in silence if they've had a bad day.

Some will love that you took the time

others may treat you just like grime

but that may be all that they know

cause trama gave them a life of woe

but we all need someone to care

about our lives, someone to share

and we need too, to care for some one

or else be lost and lonely and none

but life is full of times with risk

and some who wave their fingers - tisk, tisk

so take a chance, it's what we should do

and not see people as if in a zoo

It can be hard to take that chance

but live your life as if you can dance.
