Who You With

So you move to an area that is ghetto and known for having several different gangs, goes same way if it is in the area where they are known to frequent or hang.

They are literally everywhere you go since every corner is where they call home as well post up and slang, hustling, dealing, whatever you may call it where each corner seems to have they own color they bang or claim.

Seperate sets all around means you need to know what each color stands for and means, that way if you are not affiliated yourself you can go places dressed clean.

By clean I mean without any affiliated clothing used to miatake you for a real member, especially by a rival crew caus could lead up to being the last thing you remember.

Next thing you know you are standing in front of those large pearly white gates, all since the shoes you had on were a gang color, only can be your mistake.

See I know from my own personal experiences that if you move to the hood, that people will try to school you on what to watch for or whether or not you even could.

Buy at the stores depending on the color of your skin, if your white there is alot of things that you can not walk around safely in.

Such as college gear like North Carolina or Duke since they are blue, most places refuse to sell stuff for responsibilty of what could happen to you.

Professional sports teams are even worse to take chance to want to wear, like the Colorado Rockies who has symbol of CR adopted by crips so you must be aware.

Another big one for gangs, especially for the crips rivals is the Boston Red Sox, with the big B perfect for the Bloods to adopt as good symbol on a hat to rock.

Of course it is not just sports teams you must be enlightened to, clothing lines are also a big indicator for gangs so once again go back to the red team, the Soo Woo.

Sorry that is thr Bloods again and clothing line is one that everyone is rather familiar with, that is Calvin Klein and in that world CK itself disrespects their main rival being the crips.

You must understand that CK stands for crip killers on the streets, so you can imagine what could transpire wearing CK and just happen to meet.

The wrong person who does not care if that is just your favorite clothing brand, they only see what you wearing as sign of disrespect to what they live for and for what they stand.

So not only do you have to learn what colors mean as well as what they stand for, but also the boundaries that you may cross to go places needed such as the grocery store.

You might not understand why your told what you can safely wear or not, just realize it is all worth it if it prevents you from being robbed or shot.

Mistaken identity is, sad as it is to say, very common, least it is where I am from, with countless homicides as a result from wearing the wrong thing or in the wrong slum.

One glance is all that is needed then before you know what is going on since your just lost in translation, all you see is the glint of glimmer off the gun that he pulled out with no hesitation.

You might hear the pop, depending on the caliber of gun used followed by an utter complete silence, everything goes dark and you can not hear the screaming of people or the police sirens.
