Killed Your Love

The Husk Collection

I'm only human

What else can i say?

I’ve made mistakes

Done the wrong thing once or twice

I never meant to offend

Didn’t start to hurt your heart

Kills me when i think about

How i killed your love

Drove you away

Drove you so far

You followed me home

Then i ripped out your heart

It’s what i do

The thing i’ve always done

Burn the bridges

The ones built by your love

I share this tale

I hope to change

The wicked plays

Of a wicked heart

Oh, i drove you away

Oh, i drove you so far

You followed me home

Then i ripped out your heart

Pretty sure you never saw it comin’

Straight outta left

You used to say

You got lucky from the start

This wicked heart deceived you

Made its way ‘round town

Sharing my love

Blowin’ up to cloud nine

Oh, i drove you away

Oh, i drove you so far

You followed me home

Then i ripped out your heart

But you won in the end

Sittin’ in your ivory

A well deserved victory

While i lounge in my gutter

I see what i had

I know what i lost

The lies, the tales i spun

I killed your love

Oh, i drove you away

Oh, i drove you so far

You followed me home

Then i ripped out your heart
