Some more venting. Still not sorry.

Keyboard Warrior

Safe behind your barrier

Run your mouth in the comments

Hoping to start some arguments

Edgelord is what they often call you

Reprehensible is the misery you cause and do

It doesn't matter if he, she, or they are fat

It doesn't matter if he, she, or they are Pratt

You can disagree without being mean

You can reply without being obscene

We are all human

Who hurt you, man?

To make you do

what you do

From your mother's basement

All that entitlement

Or is it the spare room

Was I wrong to assume

You'd know a thing or two about that

Is it wrong to assume that you're a...

It's easy when you make your view through a screen

It's easy when you pretend you're living the dream

Those little avatars aren't generic NPCs

They're people like you and me, you see

They got heart and a whole lot of soul

They don't need advice from a lil troll

So before you tweet, Insta, thread, status update, or reply to that Reddit thread

Maybe take a step back, look in the mirror, and do something else, instead

I hate to ask, but has someone referred to me as "Edgelord"? (I know at least two who might have, more if we move beyond the confines of this website.)

  • You can disagree without being mean You can reply without being obscene I'll always agree with this! Loved your poem! 🥐🍩

Perfect. Agreed. I'm going to save this and share this every chance I get. Even if the internet trolls are too lazy to read- I'm sure it will resonate with everyone that DOES click. I think we are all sick of people trying to be hardcore with a keyboard. I saw a quote that said 'Social media has made people too comfortable with talking crap and not getting punched in the face for it.' I concur.

Mic drop! 🎤 You went in. I’m glad. Let the trolls get the same treatment as yucky food, ‘cause they deserve it.
