If thoughts of you were tears, the world would be a sea around me.

Rocking gently, churning wildly as you waltz across my brain.

Whirlpools of desire pull me deeper spinning and pulsing in rhythmic rhythm with the rain.

Adrift above this waterworld there's not a hint of ground to set a weary foot upon.

My eyes see nothing but the sea rocking to and fro,

But if to see dry ground means thoughts of you must go, then grant me a sail or an oar to row this boat to eternity's edge and far beyond .

To a land where thoughts of you are all dry ground and the rest is just a pond
