Twas the night before Christmas, with a comic twist,
Santa's workshop was in chaos, oh what a list!
The reindeer were tangled in tinsel galore,
While the elves played hide-and-seek on the shop floor.
Santa, in his slippers, slipped on a toy,
Sending presents flying, oh what a ploy!
He stumbled and bumbled, his hat went askew,
But he laughed so hard, his belly jiggled too.
The chimney proved tricky, a snug fit indeed,
Santa got stuck, but he wouldn't concede.
With a wiggle and a jiggle, he finally got free,
Leaving sooty footprints, what a sight to see!
The cookies were ready, a sugary feast,
But Santa mistook hot sauce for frosting, at least.
He took a big bite, his face turning red,
Chugging milk like a champ, to cool off his head.
The presents were wrapped, all shiny and bright,
But Santa mixed up the labels, what a funny sight!
The dog got catnip, the cat got dog treats,
And grandma unwrapped a pair of smelly socks for her feet.
The snowflakes were falling, a winter delight,
But Santa slipped on ice, causing quite a fright.
He did a pirouette, landing on his rear,
The elves couldn't help but giggle and cheer.
In the end, though the chaos was quite absurd,
Christmas laughter was the best gift, that's heard.
With joy in their hearts and smiles all around,
The spirit of merriment, forever profound.
So let's embrace the silly, the festive and bright,
Laugh with all our might, on this Christmas night.
For in the midst of mishaps and holiday cheer,
Laughs and giggles make Christmas extra dear.
