it's not you, it's me.

i decide how much is enough.

i can't sing my songs for deaf hearts.

i won't let my voice be taken away.

i have to speak up to be listened to.

i have to be wary of friends like you.

i am an unrealistic dreamer-

i thought that's what dreams are for.

i want what i want.

i wanted to be believed in.

i want to be both worthy and flawed.

i am how both things can be true.

i won't give up my hopes for your comfort.

i can give my whole heart, but

i decide how much is enough.

i don't care why you want more;

i am making it mutual.

i know there is no reasoning with the unreasonable.

i don't need to be told who i am.

i don't need to accept the 'help' you think i need.

i won't pay your premiums with my life.

i will walk away.

i will forget your memory.

i never forget those lessons.

i must honor all my feelings, not just what i want.

i love me more than you can hope to.

i don't think you know what that means.
