It’s About Time

It’s about time,

and times of our lives;

we have,

good times/bad times,

happy times/sad times,

day time/nite time;

breakfast,

lunch,

dinner,

and snack times😳,

we have time in/time out,

bed time/nap time,

peace time/quiet time;

an overwhelming amount of time!!

and,

we do what with all this time?

well, we,

take time/make time,

spend time/save time;

waste time,

and even manage time,

usually all the time,

most of the time,

or just some time!!

regardless, we are always,

“somewhere in time,”

seeking more time!

whoooosh, time is about up??

bottom line,

time waits for no one,

we’re either,

ahead of time,

on time??

behind time 🙆‍♀️,

or maybe,

just in the nick of time!!

yeah, made it,

time will come,

time will pass,

live your life all the time,

yet,

be certain,

when the time comes,

there shall be,

no more time,

that’s gonna be,

the final time!!

I wrote this years ago and after reading Bab’s beautiful piece on time, I reconstructed into a slam poetry format and sent it your way, hope you get some fun reading it, it was fun back when I penned it
