Is The World Wide Enough?

There’s more fish in the sea,

but none that I can actually see.

Every one that I try to catch has a tendency to flee

when we find ourselves in any sort of glee

of what we could be.

Even without my glasses I can see

the endless possibilities

of us and our new future if you’d agree.

But is it she?

Is she the one holding you from me?

If she was gone, would you finally agree?

Could you see?

Can the world be wide enough for you and me?

Between the land and sea

can she let us be free?

Can you be with me?
