You don’t complain about no light to the darkness
You don’t complain about cracks to broken pieces
You don’t complain about disease to the virus
Sometimes you have to really understand
Whether the words spoken from your mouth
Are they worth anything?
Do they carry some weight?
Or are your words just useless
Are you facing a brick wall?
In the hopes of making cracks on it
You are wasting your time and your energy
Your breaths and your voice
Spending most of your time
On problems that can’t be solved
Is an endless journey
With chances of getting lost
And no solution
It is like losing yourself
Without gaining anything
Before starting anything
Before passing by the fire
You have to ask
Will I gain something from passing by it?
Or will I only get burned?
Will I survive? Or will I burn?
Is this worth it?
Or should I choose a different path?
Which feels safer.
Which offers comfort
And which feels like home
Where the fire gives warmth and protection
Instead of fear and anxiety
Making effort on things that are worth while
Is a wonderful thing
As long as they don’t lose their spark
And your efforts become meaningless
