Insignificant Wonders

A butterfly in flight,

Soaring high and out of sight,

With wings of gold and eyes so bright,

It dances on the breeze, a graceful sight.

A flower in bloom,

With petals soft and sweet perfume,

It welcomes in the morning gloom,

And brings a touch of color to the room.

A river flowing,

Gentle and peaceful, always growing,

It winds its way through valleys glowing,

And brings life to all that it's knowing.

A tree standing tall,

With roots dug deep and branches sprawling,

It shelters all, big and small,

And gives a home to creatures calling.

These are but a few,

Of nature's wonders, ever new,

And though they may be small and few,

Their beauty always shines, for me and you.
