They be watching,
they be talking.
Mouth filthy,
nothing good comes out.
They be fighting,
they be screaming,
They always want to be the best.
Money,
Fame,
Power.
They want it all!
Humans.
they are nothing.
Just a tool,
for competitions and rankings.
They don’t care,
they aren’t fair,
they will do anything,
to be the best!
Someone better.
Green eyes flickering,
red alert,
time to be better than them!
Laughing and mocking,
at all the people,
below them.
They are delighted!
The race created by society,
that never ends,
soon they will be tired,
of all this shit!
Broken,
They are broken,
Never enough,
Never happy.
Let them be,
they won’t hurt us,
they will soon realise,
that it isn’t worth it!

Night out with the guys
About a year ago, I organized a night out with four friends. We met at my house in Australia and walked 5km to dinner as the evening cooled. Our route went through middle-class neighborhoods with little crime before entering a poorly maintained bush shortcut. The 1.5km path sat between hills in an old, dried-out creek bed with a fun, steep dip I biked down as a kid when the path was better maintained.
