In the dawn of ancient time,
Beneath a primal sun,
Roamed giants of a bygone prime,
Their era now undone.
With scales that shimmered, rough and grand,
In forests dense and old,
They walked the breadth of sea and land,
Their legends yet untold.
Their mighty roars would pierce the air,
A thunderous, wild call,
A sound of power, pure and rare,
In nature’s vast, wide hall.
From towering peaks to verdant plains,
Through swamps and deserts dry,
They ruled the world with sinewed reigns,
Beneath a timeless sky.
Tyrannosaurs with teeth that gleamed,
Triceratops with might,
Stegosaurus with plates that beamed,
Each a majestic sight.
In rivers deep and oceans wide,
Marine giants swam,
And in the sky, with wings spread wide,
Pterosaurs would ram.
Their world was harsh, yet rich and full,
A tapestry of life,
A dance of balance, gentle pull,
Amidst the primal strife.
But epochs turned, and fate did bend,
Their time came to an end,
Yet in our hearts, their spirits blend,
With dreams they still defend.
Now fossilized in rock and clay,
Their bones a silent song,
They whisper of a distant day,
Where they once walked along.
So let us honor ancient days,
When giants roamed the Earth,
And in our minds, their mighty ways,
Forever find rebirth.
