Amidst the darkness of the night,
A battle rages within his mind,
As thoughts collide and take flight,
Leaving him lost and blind.
He struggles to find the light,
The path that leads to hope,
But the voices in his head ignite,
And the darkness seems to grow.
He fights against his own thoughts,
A war that never seems to end,
But deep within he knows he ought,
To find the strength to ascend.
With each step, the light draws near,
A beacon in the endless night,
And as he conquers his fear,
He finds the courage to fight.
The darkness slowly fades away,
As hope and light begin to shine,
And with each passing day,
He finds his way to the divine.
The battle may be hard and long,
But he will emerge victorious,
For within him, he is strong,
And his spirit is glorious.
