IN THE DARK ROMANTIC
Fantasies, mere fantasies,
Husks of imagination
Falling by the wayside,
Like snakes shedding skins.
Then once...
...in a moon's age,
...in a cocoon's age,
Like the chrysalis cocoon...
One dream bears fruition,
Emerges from the recess of the mind.
You are old school charm,
With a touch of class..
Add a dab of new school,
Stir gently with a whiff of seduction,
Wave the moon away,
As it does not compare to what I see.
Vilify me,
Filet me with your rapier wit..
As your bright red lips leave a trail like a thousand paper cuts,
The pain excruciatingly bearable,
Just to feel the agony of your smile...and,
Pray to God you look my way.
You are the epitome of the torture no man will decline,
Enduring heaven,
Loving hell!
Just to say...
Yes, you're the only,,,
Rings my bell!
