In gray she ate

because that's how he like it

Ingratiate

to make him feel glad

He didn't have to make

a fuss or demand it

She did all these things

to share the sunshine she had

She was glad to say, she'd met Phil in the city

a happy, joyful soul, with one killer smile

Felicity

intense happiness, expressed well

and she traded her frown, if for only a while

He complimented her on her new pair of docs

not everyone liked them

Cause they fit kind of odd

Paradox

although it seemed rather silly

he could never imagine calling his friend a fraud

He said as they parted

it was my pleasure to meet you

Although word play is fun

sometimes it can be hard

I sure hope you had fun

on this little adventure

Let's be sure to do it again

and tipped his hat, as a sweet, bonjour gesture
