In all Things

Tattooed not Merely upon My Arms & Back

Look not upon my arms or back

but within my eyes

& across my face,

through my touch

& tender embrace,

by my deeds

& through my very soul.

In all things,

let me be

a tender grace

to help,

to lift,

to serve

& to do what I can

to make your day a little brighter,

your load a touch lighter.

Should that desire

to comfort & serve

& love & enjoy

be not found in these,

filled with tender grace,

then & only then,

remind me to read

that which is writ

upon my arms

& my back.
