I walk in shades of pink, you call me names...

I declare blue, to satisfy... which couldn't be furthest from the truth

I reclaim unwillingly I'm "so"- you know that color no one knows...

But not to go unrepresented I say, "I'm like the Sun-Far East Yella"...

You still disrespect and summon, that my eyes don't look like "so"...So, it would be implausible to declare myself wih that "kind" of imposter glow.

I'M BLACK - YOU PAUSE.

"That" stops you dead in your tracks..."That" pause, causes heart attacks...

"That" fear in your stare makes a Blind man tear...

I announce I'm that color "me" - that sensitive color that doesn't violate the volunteers of the great Red, White and Blue...

I'm just the color "Me" and you?...the color you.

Now what color could that be - that doesn't alarm, cause harm, shame or remind you that PAIN is the color of dishonesty...that alone is a treaty with self...And a new definition for the common man's wealth.

So, you might not know my name, but depends on how I walk, talk or chew...you'll remember my color...But I the color "me", will remember YOU...
