I Remember Him, My Blue. By Natalie Marie Stefani Rice
I was the princess he couldn't live without.
I remember him.
I remember him.
His strong arms holding me up when the whole world was crumbling down round me.
I remember him.
His eyes, so blue, in the darkness when there was nothing else I ould see.
His eyes and his voice they guided me.
I remember him.
He wore silver like the knights and he rode in on a great white beast.
He promised me hope and that he'd never leave.
I remember him.
The man who took my hand and led me to the dance floor and for a moment in time I was his only girl.
I remember him.
At night he'd hold me to his chest and whisper in my ear, the memory so vivid, so crystal clear.
I remember him.
There never was a minute or a shadow of a doubt,
I was the princess he couldn't live with out.
I remember him.
How he flattered my spirit and ticked my soul.
Gave me his love and devotion.
I remember him
He was my lover, my companion,
My friend to the end.
I remember him.
He promised me the moon and the stars, that we would never be apart.
Oh, yes, I remember him.
