I’m Home

I will be taken by boat to my home

The sea is calm, when the trouble comes.

Destinations quarrel in thought, which is known?

Alas, shall this vessel, bequeathed to soul’s hum.

The journey far, yet may it bare some time.

Are we yet, to discover which direction?

Thus, the charted course, is so sublime,

Although I cannot see much protection.

Wind sings blissfully and fills the sails.

Her sibling brings stillness, and wonder

Did father see freedom to be curtailed?

Surely this boat will be taken asunder.

Neigh, the plight of this mind is the one tool.

The vessel must not be steered to dry land.

To think, now home, yet I feel as a fool!

All the while at sea, was home in God’s hands.
