I'm Dying

Poem

Gotta pinch myself because I might be dreaming.

Falling from clouds, ‘Do a flip’, I’m thinking.

I’m not even Ghost Face, but I could be screaming, I’m dying.

Laughing so hard that I’m crying.

Gotta save myself from the toxic creatures.

Can’t learn a thing from the shitty teachers.

Struck like a star with stirling features.

I will chant your name from atop the bleachers.

I’m a pedestrian, and you will be my hero. Number one fan hula hooping cheerios.

You say goodbye, then I say cheerio!

Gotta save my life when I’m dying! Diar diar, graves on fire.

Hell is like heaven, but it’s just a bit dryer.

Gotta stop myself from questioning my judgment.

Life was never perfect, we just made adjustments.

Call me a black widow if I have to kill my husband, he’s dying.

He’s just like me. But I never apologize for who I’m to be.

I know I joke a lot, but I am never lying.

I saw a star up close, I’m telling you it’s blinding.

I tried to reach for one, and hell, I’m still trying.

Just look into my soul and find out that I’m dying. I'm dying for you.

I live like I’m dying, but I speak the truth!
