I Love You

The Only Thing I Know

I,

this awkward, short, shy,  geeky, ginger,

Love

You.

You genuine, kind, brilliant human being.

When I was born,

I didn't know who I was

or how to describe myself

or what my feelings meant.

Then someone taught me

 And I started to learn,

One sentence of my DNA articulated at a time.

I'm not the same as I was when I started.

And I won't be the same when I'm finished.

 I know who I was.

 I'm learning who I am,

Who I will be.

I'll leave it till the morning.

There's a lot, I don't know about myself,

but a lot that I do.

And what I know I know is a hundred percent true

when I translate this feeling I have into words,

I know one thing without a doubt:

I

Love

You.
