I knew

I knew from the moment you ordered your coffee, strong

I knew you from the moment I saw you running your hands through your hair.

Noticed you lower your eye line and pause in between your sentences so you can hear your thoughts

You bite your lips and let out a small laugh to self assure, and hide your anxiety

I felt it, from the moment you walked in: you're the type of person that reads good books,

ones that you found in your grandfather’s mature library

And like him , you’ve got a bad habit of creasing the pages

You’re the type of guy that loves spring, it is your favorite time of the year

cause you’ve always liked the sent .

So in the time the flowers bloom

you stop to take in a deep breath in

I Noticed, when I came over, you got up quickly to greet me hello, and patted your hands on you chest

You bite your lips and let out a small laugh, to self assured and hide the butterflies

I knew from the moment you ordered your coffee, strong
