I Found Peace in Our Death

Poem

By CadmaPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

We had the magic

You had the lies

I had the tears

We said goodbye

Feet dragging in this dance

From first to second chances

We found spice

We found pain

I found my soul

In calling your name

You made promises

You couldn’t keep

I lied to myself

That love was for me

Bound by a red string

Flickering; it’s dangerous

Bound by a red string

Repeating; bad memories

Bound to each other

In all times & space

Bound to the grief

You plague to my face

You got lingering eyes

And always free hands

Say I’m a favorite

Like I’d understand

Bottles tipping in my trance

Your spells been casted

I found peace

in our death

You felt it too

When I left

Time ain’t free

That’s my hurry

I fly on crutched wings

You will try to cage me

Bound by a red string,

Glitching, we’re falling

Bound by a red string

Tightening, stopping my breathing

Bound to each other

Twin flame or hell

Being bound to you

I can’t tell
