I Felt A Little

I felt a little lost today...

It was like floating in the middle of the ocean...

The sun beating on my face...

Thirst unbearable.

I felt a little broken today...

It was like a toy car without its wheels...

Trying to drive but beating its side against the ground...

Immoveable.

I felt a little weathered today...

It was like the side of a home after a storm...

The siding coming undone from the seams...

Unfixable.

I felt a little lonely today...

It was like being surrounded by people...

Yet, no one knew my name...

Isolated.

I felt a little...empty

So, what is left to do?

Rise and start anew and remind myself that I won't always feel this way.

Tomorrow, I'll feel full.

Tomorrow will be better...even if it's just a little.
