Amicable Silence
"What the hell am I going to do?" Victoria asked herself out loud as she sat up in her bed. Her hair was drenched from sweat and stuck to her face. This revelation was hard for her to accept because if she could accept that Michael had that kind of power over her she had to accept that he also held it over her mother.

I Thought We Agreed
Michelle's POV 2 hours before the incident ———-————————————————- The tears had begun to flow from my eyes and I hadn’t even realized it happened. I closed my eyes and allowed myself a moment to process this pain that was etched so deeply into my soul that I sometimes wondered if I would ever be able to find myself again. ‘I feel so lost’ I thought as I held the printed words so tightly in my hands that I thought they would crumple between my fingers. “Damn it!” I cursed loudly.

Quivered at the Thought
“My mother?” She didn’t want to admit what she had already known to be true. She didn’t want to accept the connections that were starting to form in her mind. It was easier for her to believe that she didn’t know where he was going with that statement. It was easier to believe that she was just a victim in all of this and that belief caused a pang of fear to rest in her belly.

An Eternity Had Passed
He laughed. It was a deep guttural laugh that left her feeling an ache between her legs. “It isn’t enough,” was all that he said and it was all that she needed to hear as she reached up to kiss him again. The second kiss was filled with more fire and passion as she parted her lips and granted him access. His tongue and hers battled for dominance and it was a dance that felt so amazing to play. It felt like an eternity had passed. The kiss was everything that she had ever hoped for. Her body was consumed with desire and all she wanted was to rip off his clothes and allow him to take her right where they stood. She knew she was dreaming because this couldn't be real. Yet, the part of her that longed for some connection with someone knew that what was happening was very real. He was here. He was real and he loved her.

Forever is a long time
Everything moved in a blur around her. Victoria found herself crawling into her own mind as she watched the demons consume the old man. The doctors and nurses couldn't see what she was seeing. They couldn't smell the sulfur or hear the screams. The room had been thrown into chaos and her mind couldn't hold. Her eyes closed and down she went.
