I Dream of Bicker Noises

I dream of bicker noises overtaken via song, the transcendent hymn of our humanity

crescendoing in a completely happy ode whenever the voices of dissonance

again upward shove to a din.

Oh yes, dissonance shall honestly sound again and frequently once more in that world I dream,

disharmony intrinsic to a cosmos atonal, a herbal tune taking part in ever out of key

in the chaos of conflict and clatter written into nature’s grand score.

We are organisms fashioned of conflict.

Crossed functions of pursuits and crosscurrents of histories

will go us then as now, the panting passions of our peoples

still puffed up and egocentric centered.
