I cannot find you

Where are you now?

Didn’t hear from you yesterday

or the day before.

What’s going on surpasses confusion but it’s hard to ignore.

This is just crazy.

Nothing is right.

Where is your ori?

Where is your sight?

Where is your beauty? Where is your song?

Where did you go?

Something is wrong.

I can’t understand you.

What are you saying?

Nothing makes sense.

For what am I praying?

The violations are deep and trust been destroyed.

Tempers have flared and we’ve both been annoyed.

May Orinmila help us.

Esu Papa Legba, let us in.

We’re looking for sanctuary.

Osun, please let us win.

What must be sacrificed?

What must be done?

How can darkness be lighted when you can’t see the sun?

I’m looking for answers and freedom from pain, for just a few moments

my breath to regain.

I want an end to sickness and nights without sleep.

Yemanja to enfold us with her oceans to keep.

Time is at a premium

as I’m sure that you know.

I cannot find you.

Where did you go?
