I CAN’T TELL YOU

I can’t tell you, that your love was like a land mine,

In which I fell and blasted in no time.

I can’t tell you, that holding your hand was like freezing the time,

But which passed like the sand in an open mine,

I can’t tell you, that looking at you took every inch of mine,

But when I deeply looked, I was flabbergasted in no time.

I can’t tell you, that sitting beside you was like dream of mine,

Which when completed, felt like there’s no wish left to whine.

I can’t tell you, the way my eyes search moon at the nights,

Because every time I look, my look burns thousands of jealous moons of the skies.

I can’t tell you, the smoke you left behind

Because every time the wind blows, it burns every inch of mine.

And I can't tell you that I can't tell you ————
