How long?

The question I ask myself daily

How long until you leave me again?

When will you go to another man?

You know exactly what I mean.

Stay up all night,

sleep all day,

Only on your computer,

And always with him.

Sleeping alone

Cold and in pain.

You'll fight

and he'll leave

Then you'll return once more

Begin again

But how long until you're gone?

Never seen a change

Sad and alone

Tears on my soul

Having served my purpose

The space to recover

How long until the next tussle

Thinking that it's love

When its just a comfort

Knowing they'll leave

Destructive Forces

This is my soul

The toxic lover

Protector of all

But not a good one
