How Do You Say Hello?

Hop, hop, hop -like a bunny

Ribbit, ribbit, ribbit - like a frog

Meow, meow, meow - like a kitty

Bark, bark, bark - like a dog

The animals all come alive,

when you walk in the room!

They wait for you to wake up,

their hearts patter - boom, boom, boom, boom, boom!

You are their favorite person,

you are the sunshine in their day.

They love to be around you,

listen to everything you say.

When the duckling says good morning,

it sounds like quack, quack, quack, quack, quack-

So, be sure to give a waddle,

when you want to answer back.

By Peter Schad on Unsplash

The rooster hollers out a greeting,

with his - cock a doodle do.

Don't forget to holler back -

your own cock a doodle too.

By Mikael Kristenson on Unsplash

When the horse wants your attention,

he bellows out a mighty neigh,

So that there is no question -

he has something he wants to say.

By Annie Spratt on Unsplash

The cows say - Moooo, moo, moo

the piglets oink and squeal,

to make sure you are listening,

when they tell you how they feel.

By Christopher Carson on Unsplash

Baby lambs and goats,

jump around saying - baa, baa, baa, baa, baa

Making silly sounds like this,

gets you laughing - ha, ha, ha, ha, ha,

Every creature has it's own way,

that they communicate.

When you want to tell me something,

what are the things you say?
