Gives Me Tingles
Ode to the secret of the goosebump
the surface of skin shows the extent of excitement
as goosebumps explode, erecting hairs on my neck
Exploiting emotions expressed in an instant
such displays spoken, in one tiny speck
words cannot replace what a goosebump is suggesting
the various feels, waiting there, under the skin
so obvious that there is no objecting
the thrilling adventures, about to begin
deny if you will, as the words fall on deaf ears
the body has boldly said much more than you know
increasingly stronger, as the temptation draws nearer
revealing your secrets, with each braille dot its shown

Sometimes it's just a chill. Not usually, but sometimes. Usually it's exactly as you have described & alerts me to the fact that something really cool, moving & inspiring just happened. Admittedly, I don't often think of it as betraying what I'm feeling to others. That's more likely to be the shudder that rocks through my entire body which normally accompanies it. (Yeah, I'm not good at disguising such things, lol.)
